Biography

My Pledge to you, the NYSSPA Member:
Thank you for your support and electing me to represent you on the NYSSPA Board as Vice President and Chief Delegate to the AAPA House of Delegates!
I will proudly represent the PA’s of New York State as your Chief Delegate at the AAPA House of Delegates, as I have done since 2006. As such, I am very familiar with what happens during the HOD and how to best represent New York's PAs.  At the 2018 HOD, I stood in as Chief Delegate, on the behalf of Past Vice President John Halloway. I will continue to ensure the interests and concerns brought forth by our Members will be heard on the National Level, including recent, essential issues including recertification and Optimal Team Practice. As the Vice President/Chief Delegate to the AAPA HOD for 2019, I will continue to ensure your voice is heard both on the state and national levels; while also working with all the duly elected NY Delegates representing New York at the HOD.  I have been a member of NYSSPA since graduation in 1996, and an active member of NYSSPA’s Board of Directors since 2008. In my current position in PA Education, along with over 20 years of clinical practice in the Emergency Department, I have the fortunate opportunity to represent PA Students, PA Educators and Practicing PAs in the NYSSPA Board Room and Nationally via the House of Delegates. This is my pledge to you, the NYSSPA Member, thank you for your continued support!
