NYSSPA has been a strong and powerful presence in the AAPA House of Delegates for many years with one of the largest voting blocks in the HOD. I have been a NYSSPA delegate for 11 years, a Reference Committee member for 8 years, a Ref Comm Chair for 4 years and a Standing Rules Comm member for 4 years. This year, I will be serving the House of Delegates as the Sergeant at Arms. I have also been elected to the Nominating Work Group of the AAPA and assist in the review and endorsement of candidates for the AAPA elections.
I also serve NYSSPA as a recent Past President and Professional Relations Committee Chair. In that role, I represent PAs to the NYS Department of Health Antimicrobial Resistance Task Force. I am one of the AAPA State Advocates for Reimbursement (STAR) representatives.
Most recently, I served on the Joint Task Force of the AAPA BOD/HOD and helped develop the Optimal Tea Practice resolution that was passed by the House of Delegates and adopted as AAPA Policy.
It is my desire to continue to represent the interests of the PAs in NYS as President-Elect of NYSSPA and as a delegate to the AAPA House of Delegates. I respectfully ask for your support!
